This page sets out the terms and conditions for all competitions and bookings at Circé’s Rooftop Waterloo.

Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Payment terms:
a. Deposit of 50% is required to confirm your booking, unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
b. The remaining balance of the pre-order or agreed minimum spend must be paid 30 days prior the event.

2. All deposits, pre-payments, products, packages and pre-ordered items are to be used on the booking date. Anything not utilised on the booking date shall be retained by the venue unless there is prior written agreement to the contrary.

3. Any normal happy hours, offers and promotions are not applicable when hiring the venue exclusively of hiring a private space unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. You will be required to adhere to your contracted guest numbers. In the event of a drop in numbers, the venue will attempt to work with you to maximise your pre-ordered package where possible, but this may not be guaranteed if items have been ordered in especially for your event

5. We operate a strict 18 and over policy and guests will require a valid form of photo ID. Failure to do so may result in you being refused entry. The only 2 forms of ID we accept are Driving License or Passport.

6. Admission to the venue is always at the managements discretion and we reserve the right to refuse entry and / or stop serving at managers discretion.

7. Any damage to, of theft of property at the venue (including but not limited to music equipment, furniture, fixtures and fittings and any other property of the venue) caused during the event at the fault of the client is clients responsibility and will be charged to you at full replacement cost.

8. No sportwear, no tracksuits, hoodies or baseball caps.

9. You shall indemnify us against all and any claims arising from the purchase of goods or services from a third party booked and organised by yourselves (including but not limited to, external food and drink suppliers, photobooths, decorations or theming props)

10. Where commission has been agreed with an event agency, this shall be paid or credited to you after the event has taken place and all final event payments have been received by us, within 30 days of the event taking place.

11. Cancellation policy:
All deposits are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule your event, you may request to do so but it is at our discretion. The booking must take place within the given timeframe. You may only do this once and it is subject to availability.

12. If the event turns out to be a promoted club event and/or tickets are sold without written approval in advance of the event, then we have the right to close that event before or on the day without notice or liability and deposits will not be refunded.

13. Please note we are a cashless bar and only accept card payments.

14. Please let us know in advance if any members of your party have allergies or specific dietary requirements. Allergen information is available on request, and our team are fully trained to provide guidance. While we take every precaution, we cannot guarantee the absence of allergens and cross contamination. Guests are also encouraged to speak to a member of our team on arrival if required. It is the responsibility of the Client to inform Circe’s Rooftop in writing of any dietary requirements, allergies, or intolerances at least 14 days prior to the event. Our team will provide full allergen information on request.

15. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with English law.

PLEASE NOTE:
• All seating requests will be noted, however we cannot 100% guarantee a specific area unless you have booked a private or full venue hire.
• It is step access only to the rooftop

Promoter: Circe’s Rooftop, Waterloo, London (“the Promoter”).

1. Eligibility

1.1 Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 or over at the time of entry, unless otherwise stated.
1.2 Employees of the Promoter, its agents, affiliates, or anyone professionally connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.
1.3 Proof of age and identity may be required.
1.4 Entry requirements may vary by competition and will be clearly stated in promotional materials.
1.5 The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or disqualify any entrant who does not meet eligibility requirements.

2. How to Enter

2.1 Entry is free and no purchase is necessary, unless expressly stated otherwise.
2.2 Competitions will run for the dates specified in the relevant promotional material (“Competition Period”).
2.3 Entries must be submitted via the method stated (e.g. online form, QR code, social media action).
2.4 Only fully completed and valid entries submitted during the Competition Period will be accepted.
2.5 Unless otherwise stated, one entry per person is permitted.

3. Winner Selection & Notification

3.1 Winners will be selected either:

at random, or

based on stated judging criteria,
as detailed in the specific competition description.
3.2 The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
3.3 Winners will be contacted using the contact details provided at entry.
3.4 If a winner does not respond within 48 hours (or another stated timeframe), the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

4. Prizes

4.1 Prize details will be outlined in the relevant competition promotion.
4.2 All prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is available.
4.3 Alcohol-related prizes are strictly for winners aged 18+ and may require ID upon redemption.
4.4 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control require.

5. Prize Redemption

5.1 Prizes must be redeemed in accordance with any instructions provided.
5.2 Prizes may be subject to availability, booking requirements, blackout dates, or venue capacity restrictions.
5.3 Failure to redeem a prize within the stated timeframe may result in forfeiture.
5.4 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for travel, accommodation, or additional costs unless expressly stated.

6. Disqualification & Verification

6.1 The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and winners.
6.2 Any entrant found to have provided false, misleading, or fraudulent information may be disqualified.
6.3 The Promoter may disqualify any entry that breaches these Terms & Conditions or is deemed inappropriate or abusive.

7. Liability

7.1 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to technical issues or system failures.
7.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of a prize, except where caused by negligence or breach of statutory duty.

8. Publicity

8.1 By entering, winners agree to take part in reasonable promotional activity, including photography, video, and social media use, without additional compensation.
8.2 Personal data will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

9. Data Protection

9.1 Personal data will be used solely for the administration of the competition and any purposes expressly stated at entry.
9.2 Data will not be shared with third parties except where necessary to fulfil the prize or where legally required.

10. General

10.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel any competition at any time due to circumstances beyond its control.
10.2 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
10.3 Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
